Our first week was mostly about getting to know the courses and understanding what
we will be doing this semester. Each teacher gave an introduction to their class, explained how we
will be evaluated, and what topics we will study.
We also had to choose our projects for the different courses. We looked at the available options, talked
with classmates, and picked the topics we want to work on during the semester.
After several discussions, we decided to develop a system capable of analysing car accident images and comparing
them with textual descriptions related to the incident. These descriptions may include statements from drivers,
witnesses, police reports, and information provided by insurance companies. The goal of the project is to identify
possible inconsistencies between the visual evidence and the textual reports, providing support for insurance claim
analysis.
